This secluded, all-outdoor venue, set amongst 60 acres of private woodland on the outskirts of Hingham, Norfolk is a place where dreams can come true. Since we only host on a limited number of weddings each year, we can ensure your day is as enchanting as the woodland setting that surrounds it.

There are so many options when you choose to have a woodland wedding with us. Whether you opt for a religious ceremony at St Andrews Church and walk to us for your reception, or choose to stay in the woods for the entire weekend, your wedding really can be completely bespoke. If you're a bride looking for an exceptional woodland aisle, come and take a stroll down ours. It stretches 210 metres and opens up to reveal a sensational clearing with beautiful views across 60 acres of private paddocks. Here you can set up your chosen marquee, tent or tipi for a memorable reception, and you and your closest friends and family can watch the sun set over the fields in front of you. Whether you invite 15 people or 120, come and design your day, your way.

Dry Hire Venue
We are a dry-hire venue, meaning you can bring in your own suppliers and create the wedding you've always dreamed of. Alternatively, if that's a little daunting we have a few wedding packages you can choose from to cover the basics like electricity and loos. As an exclusive-use venue, you and your family and friends will have the woodland to yourselves from Friday right through until Sunday morning. We have one luxury glamping tent for the wedded couple, plus the option to hire an additional five bell tents to pitch in the adjoining field for family and friends to sleep under the stars. We are eco-friendly, dog-friendly and horse-friendly and welcome couples who long for the unconventional.

In a secluded glade just off the main clearing, you'll find an inspiring blank canvas dappled in sunlight. Our woodland ceremony space is the perfect spot for your wedding blessing. Bring in your own decor suppliers, decorate yourself or choose to have it all taken care for you on site by Lavender & Wild Weddings. Alternatively, take advantage of the countryside views and marry in The Glade.

Whether you dream of a bohemian, festival-style reception complete with tipis and an outside bar, or an intimate gathering with a traditional marquee and an English country garden vibe, The Glade offers a wonderful blank canvas and killer sun sets to boot. We have a number of recommended tipi, stretch tent and marquee suppliers you can use to create a dreamy reception space for you and your guests.
With various bar styles to choose from, our mobile bar partner comes fully licensed and insured with highly trained, professional and fun staff. Choose from a range of drinks options and bar styles to create the perfect package.

The Honeymoon Tent

Our luxurious honeymoon glamping tent is set back from the communal areas in a secluded woodland clearing. Up to five additional bell tents can be hired and pitched in the adjoining field so that loved ones can join you under the stars. These are provided by Norfolk Country Retreats at an additional cost. For those who won't be staying on site, the 15th-century White Hart Hotel in Hingham is a short 10 minute walk or 2 minute drive away and has a selection of charming boutique bedroom options.

Glamping
Included in our venue hire price is two nights accommodation for the wedded couple in an enchanting, on-site woodland bell tent - fully furnished with a proper double bed. Five additional bell tents are available for friends and family who want to sleep in the adjoining field. What can you expect? For starters, an outdoor kitchen, sheltered under a rail sail. A private picnic area and fire pit for intimate dining, and an eco-loo and basic shower facilities. Why not bring in a mobile coffee and hot pastry van to make the most of a leisurely Sunday morning with loved ones? Or simply cook up some bacon sarnies on the BBQ? What better way to celebrate a new chapter of your life than nestled in nature with nothing but birdsong and an occasional gallop in the background?
